Santa Monica Pier

We visited Kuku this weekend. First we went to eat in Kokary BBQ Monterey Park. I was so bored when they eat. I won't sit still at all time. Everybody is giving me ck... ck... ck... saying that I was being a bad boy, but I don't care. Then we went shopping in the Citadel Outlet. After that we went to the Santa Monica Pier and have dinner there. We got home pretty late, around 9pm.

First Fever

Since 2 nights ago I got a fever. My first fever ever. Not sure because I fell this afternoon or weather change. Did I mention that I fell down 2 stairs and my car was on top of me because I was trying to bring it down with me? Mama n Kuku brought me to ER. The AC was pretty cold inside the room, and I was sweating cause outside was so hot. Maybe that's why. Anyway, Mama n Papa was very nervous. Papa did not dare to sleep, making sure my temperature is not rising. Mama also stayed up, but finally she's asleep cause she gotta go to work tomorrow. I was sooo uncomfortable that make me so cranky. Nothing feels good. Papa put a warm water on my forehead and keep changing it to keep my temperature normal. The fever stayed for a couple of days. It went up and down and up and down. Good thing there was Ama. She wiped my body with rubbing alcohol with water to keep my temperature from rising. By wednesday I am myself again.

Jet Lag

We got to LA around 4pm, then I get to sleep at a regular time around 9pm, but I woke up at 4am, having jet lag as it is. My stomach also had a jet lag, I was soooo hungry. Everything tasted so good............ (including wheat toast n white milk).

On the flight back to LA

September 19th is finally here. I'm a bit happy yet sad. Happy because we're finally going home, the place that I only know for the last 16 months of my life where I know where everything is. It's home................... But I'm sad cause our vacation is over. Mama n Papa has to go back to work while me staying at home with Nai Nai.

Tin Tai Fung

Akung took us to eat in a club. The place is a high class place, I almost can't get in. They don't allow babies and infants like me in there. But finally they let me in with the other baby, but they place us in other room, so we won't bother other people. That's how classy that place is. Anyway, the food is just so so.... not so good and not so bad. My favorite thing in this place is frozen Milo. Yummmmmmmm...........................

Panda cookie

We finally get a taste of Tin Tai Fung xiao lung bao. It was nothing out of the ordinary, the same as the one we ate in the US. But then they put half of the kitchen outside by the glass window. I am very amaze on how quick they can wrap the xiao lung bao.

This is another of Mama's favorite. It's fan thuan made of brown sticky rice with egg, meet, radish, and chinese doughnut (you tiau). It was really really good. 99's fan thuan is nothing compare to this one. It's one of a kind.

Hot Spring n 101

Today Papa and Mama went to the Spring. On the way there, they stopped by in the Se Lin Ye Se again. And they eat and eat and eat til they drop.

The first stop is spicy hot pot. "This is spicy yet good.................." said Mama.

This is a hot spring in Beitou that only visited by locals. They are located by the MRT Beitou station, a couple of more steps further away from the Hot Spring Museum to be exact. The admission was pretty cheap, only US$1.33 per 2 hr. Make sure you check the schedule below if you want to go visit. They have 6 different springs with different temperatures: from the coldest to the hottest. The way you supposed to do it from the warmest to the hottest then jump to the coldest spring, then you'll get tinggling feeling. One thing you have to remember to not only soak your feet. People get heart attack when they do that. So you either have to be IN all the way or OUT all the way.

After the Hot Springs, Mama and Papa visited 101, the tallest building in Taiwan.
